Titre: Two line Shark nose project
Posté par: crins le juin 11, 2014, 02:31:41 pm
Hi.
Just a wild idea.
Would it be flyable to make a two line design using Shark nose and lots of 'Rigifoil'?

A bit like this (FW design screenshot):

I think it's close to the new RISE2 by Air Design...

Nice, I see where do you take your minds ;)
Do you already have an idea about how to place the rigifoils on the rib?

:)
I have a stable flying Spiral 1.2R (proto).... so now's the time to play!

Rigifoil in the nose, from the opening to first one third of the profile.
And some Rigifoil nylon rod in the lower deck, from the opening to about 20mm past the B-line attachment (to spread load of the lines)
And I think only Rigifoil on ribs that have bridle lines....

What would your idea be for Rigifoil on such a crazy wing?

And I could always split the A and B lines near the lower deck to spread the load even more.....
